The North Monastery school is situated in Cork City Ireland. It is a very famous school founded almost 200 years ago. It has some very famous pupils to boast about, namely a Prime Minister (Taoiseach) and two Lords Mayor. The year 2011 will be very special as the school will be here at this site 200 years.

ALL YOU MON BOYS WHO READ THIS SHOULD RALLY TO THE CAUSE NOW. when most of you guys were young and attending school at the mon times were tough. Most of us got a very good education at the mon and some people went on to be very successful in various walks of life. It is now our duty to give back something to our ALMA MATER in the form of support for our annual dinner and thinking about joining the PAST PUPILS UNION. The ppu will help to keep you in touch with old school friends and some of these may be in a position to give some help in the event of some problem which may come your way in the future. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU NEED A FRIEND.
Paschal Houlihan is living in Dooradoyle, Limerick. He was a lecturer in Irish Studies in the University of Limerick. He is now retired as is his wife Anna. Paschal,- as you say- was extremely talented. He excelled/excels at singing,bridge,golf,betting etc. Anon.

I am a former pupil of the north monastery school situated in cork city ireland. The christian brothers who teach there have established schools throughout the world, teaching generally the poor.
One of their most famous schools (now closed) was POWER MEMORIAL ACADEMY in the Bronx N.Y. USA.
